Panel on the Future of Urban Mobility
On 30 September, the Tages-Anzeiger Forum "Mobility 2014 - Intelligent solutions for clients" will be held at the Duttweiler Institute in Rüschlikon Switzerland. Experts from business, politics and academia will discuss concepts and strategies for mobility that address quality of life in the face of increased traffic congestion. Stephan Lienin, Managing Partner of Sustainserv Zurich / Boston will share his experience leading a dialogue process on the "Future of Urban Mobility" (see below). The panel will be joined by Wilhelm Natrup, Building Department of the Canton of Zurich, Government Councillor Ernst Stocker of the Canton of Zurich, and Gerhard Schürmann of the Emil Frey group to discuss the future of mobility in the Zurich metropolitan area.
Between 2011 and 2012, Sustainserv moderated a two-year dialogue process on the "Future of Urban Mobility", managed the development of a vision 2035 and supported the development of recommendations for action. This multi-stakeholder dialogue involved approximately 50 companies, public sector organizations, universities, NGOs and associations.
